The Grenada National Commission for UNESCO informs that UNESCO has launched the 16th call for funding requests to the International Fund for Cultural Diversity (IFCD).
The Fund, which invests in projects in developing countries that lead to structural change through the introduction or elaboration of policies and strategies that have a direct effect on the creation, production, distribution of, and access to a diversity of cultural expressions, was established by the 2005 Convention on the Protection and Promotion of the Diversity of Cultural Expressions.
Projects supported by the IFCD cover a range of activities – from the development and implementation of cultural policies, to capacity-building for cultural professionals and entrepreneurs, access to new markets, to greater participation in cultural life. For further information on some of the achievements of IFCD-funded projects, please consult the IFCD brochure.
Please note that all applicants will have to directly submit their applications on the IFCD on-line application platform. You may consult the IFCD website for clear and precise information on the IFCD application and selection procedure.
